Preface

“As a friend and consultant of Atul, I have had the profound privilege of observing at first hand one of the most breathtaking discoveries in evolution history: The Rocket Tree.
In the beginning it was hard to believe what Atul found. Later, using the orderly beauty of mathematics, he could supply proof for its existence. And thus the bridge between imagination and reality was drawn. A Rocket Tree is the fusion of nature and technology by the means of perfect camouflage. Only a person like Atul, a hybrid himself of botanist and cosmoscientist, was able to decamouflage such a breathtaking nomad.
To imagine the composition of a Rocket Tree correctly, one has to first visualize the strategy of camouflage: one thing disappears with the aid of a cover, and then, by these means, the sublime fusion of two characters creates a new one. In the case of the Rocket Tree, the superficial layer, the tree, supplies both the appearance and energy; the core of the Rocket Tree is then the rocket whose technologically advanced composition allows this hybrid to jet through space and time. Two in one. The one is a new scientific wonder that reacts on fear and stability, and provides a philosophical solution for the in-between.
Just before finishing this book, Atul disappeared. He made his first joined Rocket Tree Space Flight (R.T.S.F.) on 31st august 2001. Image was received from him 35 minutes after take-off, but nothing has been heard of him since. By now he is most likely somewhere between Pluto and Vulcan.
This book cannot provide a total picture of the miraculous process of watching and investigating that was involved in providing proof of the Rocket Tree’s existence. But I hope that this modulated version of Atul’s diary will give you, dear Reader, a first insight into something that could be a reality for everyone in the future.”
